Common Questions
Do you handle both design and development?
Yes. I handle design and development myself, from Figma through to a shipped WordPress or front-end build. There’s no handoff between a separate designer and developer, so what ships matches what was designed.
What platforms and tools do you work with?
Mostly WordPress, with Elementor or a custom theme, plus WooCommerce for e-commerce. For projects that don’t need a CMS, I build custom front-end with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Figma is where the design happens before any of that gets built.
Do you use AI tools in your workflow?
I use Cursor, Claude, and ChatGPT to speed up parts of the process: scaffolding, content drafts, accessibility checks, SEO metadata. They compress the timeline, but they don’t make the design or development decisions. That judgment stays mine.
Do you work with existing teams or agencies?
Yes. I’ve stepped into projects partway through, including ones other designers or agencies started, and picked up where they left off without losing quality or momentum. I’ve also worked directly alongside marketing and design agencies as an extension of their team.
What types of websites have you worked on?
Mostly small business and service sites, product and e-commerce sites, and brand-led portfolio sites, across WordPress builds and hand-coded front-ends. A few examples are in my work.
How do you approach responsive design and performance?
Layouts are built mobile-first and checked across breakpoints, not just eyeballed at desktop width. On the technical side, I pay attention to Core Web Vitals, image optimization, and cutting the plugin and script bloat that tends to slow WordPress sites down.
Do you work with people outside the Philippines?
Yes, most of the people and teams I’ve worked with are outside the Philippines. I’m used to working remotely across time zones.
